The U.S. Army Family Advocacy Program (FAP) helps Soldiers and Families recognize and meet the unique challenges of military lifestyles. (FAP) is dedicated to the prevention, education, prompt reporting, investigation, intervention of spouse and child abuse. FAP provides educationally based programs and training to active-duty soldiers, retirees, and their family members. Our services include seminars, workshops, and intervention to help strengthen Army Families. With our abundance of classes and workshops we help support readiness of Soldiers and their Families, enhance resiliency and relationship skills, to improve quality of life. FAP provides the opportunity through the programs and training to share information, enhance and develop stress management and coping skills and link to support services. Everyone can benefit from prevention and education. It is important that the soldiers and their families realize that when stressed, they are more vulnerable to life’s challenges. A little extra support is sometimes needed. FAP can also help provide assistance with linking to other programs and services on FS/HAAF and within our community.
